Polka Dots & Chevron

Guess what came in the mail today??? Yup, a package! And what's in the package??? Yup, an apron! Yay!

I received my apron today from Kaara, my apron swap partner, over at In The Kitch With Kaara. Her blog has a lot of neat stuff, from recipes to DIY projects. And she sells cute jewelry on Etsy, Poppie Darling.

Colorful Polka Dots

This was the last Apron Swap for 2013. It was nice to end the year sewing and getting back into the groove. I was partnered up with Kaara from In The Kitch With Kaara.

I did my best to fulfill her request on her apron likes. I think I did pretty good:

She likes turquoise, orange, pink, red, ruffles and half aprons. And as an added bonus, it's a reversible apron. It's hard to tell, but the apron is scalloped at the bottom. Hope she likes it. I also included a few goodies along with her apron!

Thank you Katherines Corner for hosting this apron swap!

Happy New Year!

(Apron Swap hosted by Katherine at Katherines Corner.)

Spooky!

This SPOOKY Halloween apron went out to Gail over at Faithfulness Farm. It was a Fall apron theme and we both requested a Halloween themed apron from each other. She doesn't own a Halloween apron, so I thought I make it fun and not to spooky...

Lost Cocktail!

Citrus pocket with glued on salt beads!
I participated in the Cool Drinks for Hot Mamas! apron swap...the apron package I put together for my ASP made it safe and sound to its destination, but unfortunately, the apron package I was suppose to receive lost it's way to my place.

Screams Spring!

Screams Spring!
This Spring apron swap was hosted by Sue from Country Pleasures. I just got back to sewing again since about 2 weeks ago. I've been dealing with an injured wrist that's worked related and I have to wear a wrist band. I'm a manicurist, so I knew this would happen sooner or later...

Tree Of Love

Tree Of Love
This valentine swap hosted by Sue over at Country Pleasures was so much fun! I went for a more nontraditional valentine print but it still looks Valentine-ish, don't you think? It has pink and hearts!

Toy Soldiers

I received my Holiday Apron from the apron swap hosted by Sue at Country Pleasures. This apron came from Shawnee from Shawnee's Tangled Tales. Such a beautiful apron! It came with tuck-ins but didn't get a chance to take a picture of them, but it was a snowflake ornament, mints, peppermint shower gel, and 2 chocolate spoon dips. Awe, so yummy!

Candy Cane

Yes, this month has been super busy and I've been super busy sewing aprons like crazy...I finished the 3 aprons I had going on for Thanksgiving, a Holiday Swap apron, my own Thanksgiving apron, and now just completed my last apron for another Holiday Swap...once again, the host was Sue at Country Pleasures. I had fun in the Fall Apron Swap and decided to give this one a try. And this is what I used for the holiday apron:

Poinsettias, Garlands, & Mistletoes, Oh My!

Oh boy, where do I start...I loved, loved, loved doing this apron for my fellow apron swap partner. As you can see, I had trouble waiting patiently to avoid posting this early. I truly wanted this to be a surprise but I just couldn't resist, Sorry!!!! I didn't want to let go of this apron...but I knew it was going to be enjoyed elsewhere.

Spider Witch

I participated in a Fall Apron Swap hosted by Sue at Country Pleasures and had the pleasure to be paired up with Marcel over at Aunt Pitty Pats. If you read my Jack-O-Lantern post, that was the apron I made for Marcel. By the way, she loved it and the goodies that came with it! I have to admit, I was nervous sewing and sending out the apron being that it was my first swap that I was participating in. So I was relieved when I read Marcel's email...

Jack-O-Lantern

I participated in the Fall Apron Swap over at Country Pleasures by Sue. It was so hard for me to be patient on NOT posting this sooner, since I didn't want to ruin the surprise to my fellow Apron Swap Partner. Halloween was the chosen theme for this apron and boy did I have fun sewing this! I love Halloween, so I was really excited on making this apron. And after seeing the final product...I wanted to keep it, but I knew it had to be sent to it's new owner...
