I have been constantly checking over at Tie One On to see what the next apron theme would be. Haven't seen one in quite awhile and have been anxiously waiting for the new theme. So to my surprise, Amy has retired the Tie One On Apron Themes! Sniff, sniff! I thanked her on her blog post for having this apron theme gig going on for such a long time. I came across her blog a few years ago and I'm glad I participated in a few apron themes.

Aprons On Screen was the theme at Tie One On. My ol'time favorite show is I Love Lucy. I went with the classic white apron with the black and red rick-rack. Even though my favorite apron worn by Lucy was from the Fan Magazine episode.

I was so close to not submitting a creation, but I found a classic read by coincidence...Dick and Jane! I've been having my official 1st grader do some summer reading and picked up a few easy readers at the library.

This apron was submitted to the Tie One On apron gallery...PARIS! Ooh la la! I immediately thought of a mime and what better Mime than the legendary Marcel Marceau! My inspiration to this silent apron...

Warm Apple Cider

I had fun participating in The Circus theme over at Tie One On. Great Circus themed aprons by all the participants and lots of thanks for the kind comments given to my Circus apron. The new theme this time is Apple Cider...mmm, warm apple cider! Totally fits the Fall Season...fall colors and lots of red came to mind on this apron. And here's what I came up with...

The Circus

I came across a blog a few days ago by Amy called Tie One On and she posted an apron theme: The Circus. I was interested in participating, but I wasn't sure if I would meet the deadline (September 5th) and this would actually be my first apron submission to participate in winning a Book Giveaway. So I said "What the heck!! Why not, right?" And so I did! I wanted this to be colorful since bright colors was the first thing that came to mind.
