Sugar and Spice

A good friend of mine that I've known since are kids started school together is having a birthday this week. She found out about the National Tie One On aprons I made for Thanksgiving and told me that she wanted one. Well, since I had already chosen the three apron receivers, I thought I make her one as a birthday gift.

I had originally picked out the baking fabric for a future apron that I'm working on for another fellow friend of mine (which I'll be posting soon). It was so cute that I had to make one for my friend Roxana!
I love the striped fabric complimenting the baking fabric!
No pocket this time around, but I did iron on some cute polka-dotted hearts (of course!) on the apron...
I used ribbon along the edge of the skirt instead of using bias tape or ruffles.
Can't wait to see her reaction when she opens her birthday gift! By the way, a few of us moms are meeting up at a Coffee shop to celebrate her birthday...looking forward to a cup of Vanilla Nut coffee and a chocolate croissant! Happy Birthday Roxana!

THANK YOU for my beautiful Christmas apron, with little Reindeer ornament and teas - the gingerbread house ornie is on my mini-tree already.

Your package is finally on the way .. sorry for my tardiness.
