Screams Spring!

Screams Spring!
This Spring apron swap was hosted by Sue from Country Pleasures. I just got back to sewing again since about 2 weeks ago. I've been dealing with an injured wrist that's worked related and I have to wear a wrist band. I'm a manicurist, so I knew this would happen sooner or later...

Okay, going back to the apron. My ASP (apron swap partner) wanted a half apron that screamed out SPRING! So many pretty flower fabrics but none that screamed out SPRING. But wait, I found this bright beauty, how could this apron not scream out SPRING???
Such lively colors!
My ASP also requested long ties and pockets. This is the first apron I make with double pockets...surprise, surprise! I usually go with just one. I added a fold to each pocket and sewn a turquoise button. Oh and I made my own bias again (forgot to take a pic).

I added some tuck-ins...
SPRING deco, flower seeds, flower note pad & flower Thank You card.
I was paired up with Jane over at GrandMama's Stories. Hope she likes her colorful Spring apron! Can't wait to see mine...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I'm the lucky gal who got this cute cute apron!!! I love it and wear it almost daily. I love the fabric and it hangs so nicely!! You are a very good seamstress!!
Let me know when you get your package and some nice goodies I packed in as extra for having to wait so long!! I was not a good partner and I apologize. But your apron is now winging it's way to California!!! I hope you like it..you did say you like polka dots and that's what you got!!
Blessings
