What is Cooler Corn? Have you even heard of such thing? Well, here it goes...
Cooler corn is an awesome way to cook and keep corn on the cob warm and ready to eat! Yes, that's right! Came across a few YouTube videos and reviews and had to try it and see if this "cooler corn" procedure worked.
Here's what you'll need:
- Clean cooler (Make sure it's extremely clean. You'll be cooking the corn in it.)
- frozen corn on the cob
- boiling water
Here's what you do:
First boil water. We used a big pot of boiling water to cook half a dozen frozen corn on the cob. You just want to make sure there's more than enough water to cover the corn so it'll cook properly.

Then, once the water is ready, place the frozen corn in the cob in the cooler and with caution, poor the boiling water into the cooler. Close the lid. And in approximately 30 minutes the corn will be fully cooked and ready to enjoy! The corn stays warm for about 1.5 - 2 hours. Be careful when you open the lid. Steam flows out.
So while that's cooking, you can carry-on on cooking the rest of your dinner to go with the corn.
